Matius 11 : 1

Yesus tidaklah melakukan hal demikian.

Selamat berkarya. (PS)

JANGAN MENJADI “BOSSY”, TETAPI RENDAH HATI KEPADA ORANG LAIN

Matthew 11: 1

After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and proclaim his massage in their cities.” (Matthew 11: 1)

Answer the questions below to help you meditate on the Word of God:

  1. What did Jesus do after instructing His disciples?
  2. The example does Jesus give to us all?
  3. Share & reflect: What lessons you can in this contemplation?

After Jesus sent out and gave a message to his disciples, Jesus did not stay still waiting for the results. Jesus is still working to teach and preach in their cities. Jesus not being “bossy”. Meaning of the word bossy in which the figure of a person who likes to give orders to others (Dictionary of slang). In fact, this is often ruled by “shouting“. Of course, ruled in question is ruled without right. For example, told the sister to fetch the shoes, when in fact it can take yourself. Moreover, instead of messengers of our sister.

Someone being “bossy“, surely he has high ego. And the high ego, very close even nearly the same as vanity. It certainly is no pride in his heart because he considered himself a better, more powerful or the like from others.

Jesus did not do so. Opponents said “bossy” is to have “a humble.” Although he had the authority to govern His disciples, Jesus still does the same job as He commanded His disciples. He did not remain silent and it is proving “His humility.”

John 9: 4 says, “We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh, in which no man can work.” Jesus did not waste the opportunity to do the work of the Father, even though he had sent his disciples. Even in John 5: 17 says, “… My Father is working until now, and I work too.”

Jesus’ work remains focused on “teaching” and “preaching the gospel” in order to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. He remains consistently doing the Father’s work to completion. Even time to bear the sins of mankind on the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished” which means work that the Father had given Him His completed. This is the meaning of “glorify His name” are completing the work given by the Father (John 17: 4).

The example of Jesus who “humble” and “faithful to the end” attitude abolish “bossy” even though Jesus was the leader. Let us learn and introspection of our lifestyle in serving the Lord. Especially if you are as a leader. Both leaders in the family, church and community. Learn to not be “bossy” and have humility. Continue to work for the Lord in your life. God will help and bless you, as the example of Jesus is within you. You will be the light and salt around you. Congratulations work. (PS)

DON’T BE A “BOSSY”, BUT HUMBLE TO ANYONE
